Adam Leighton graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Economics from Tulane University. He got his J.D. at the University of Toledo School of Law. During law school, he was a clerk for the Sixth District Court of Appeals in Toledo, an intern at the Lucas County Public Defender’s Office, and a clerk for the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. Mr. Leighton is an active member of the DC Bar and is a (inactive) member of the Maine State Bar Association and of the Maryland State Bar Association. He has served as a Board of Governor and as a Chair of the Education Committee, as well as as a trial judge at the George Washington University Law School.
